Features

Transfer Deposits Between Appointments

One of the most requested features by our users was the ability to transfer deposits from one appointment to another. We are happy to announce that this feature is now available.

For example, if you have a project with multiple appointments, you can take the deposit when the first appointment is booked and transfer it to the last appointment or move it to the next appointment whenever you'd like.

For more information on how to use this feature, please refer to our Transfer Deposit Between Appointments article.

Kiosk Mode (Artist Switcher)

Our new Kiosk Mode allows all users to use the same shop computer but still maintain their own access.

This feature is especially useful for shops with multiple users using a single shop computer. It eliminates the need to log in and out of different accounts manually, instead it allows you to enter a pin code to access your own login. Shop owners/ managers can toggle this setting.

To learn more about how to use Kiosk Mode, please refer to our article on How to Use Kiosk Mode.

Custom Calendar Time Block Viewing Options

You can now adjust the scale of the time blocks on the calendar to fit your needs. We ran into an issue where if the appointments were under 30 minutes, you couldn't click on them to see the appointment details.

Now, you can change the scale of the time blocks so appointments shorter than 30 minutes such as piercings, flash, and consultations appear larger and are now clickable on the calendar. Here's how to customize your calendar time block scale:

Update your time block size on your calendar to better see shorter appointments like consultations, flash, and piercings.

Choosing Artist or Service First When Booking Appointments

Until now, users were required to select the artist first when creating appointments. This was the case when booking an appointment in the system and also when clients would book using a custom appointment link.

We have now made it possible for you to choose either the artist or service first when booking an appointment in the system or from a public appointment link. See how this works below:

Clients can now select the service first when booking an appointment. Before, they had to first select an artist, then a service.

Tips Column in Artist Payout CSV Report

We have added a new column for tips in our artist payout CSV report. This makes it easier for you to track and manage tips for your artists. Here's how you can export your Artist Payout Reports to CSV for use in Excel or Google Sheets:

Custom Filters and Exports of Transactions to CSV

You can navigate to Recent Transactions then select the filters you'd like to see at the top of the page. You can now export these transactions to a CSV file to open in Excel or Google Sheets.

Connecting Appointment Request Forms

Our popular Appointment Request Forms (intake forms) feature has been popular, but these forms would previously only connect to the appointment if the appointment was booked in a certain way.

Now, you can connect any appointment request form to the appointment with a click of a button. The Manage Appointment screen will now always list the Request Form tab, and will display all of the client's former request forms with the option to connect one. Here's how you can do that.

For more information on how to connect appointment request forms, please refer to our article on How to Connect Appointment Request Forms.

Client Metadata on Manage Appointment Screen

We have added client metadata to the Client Info tab on the Manage Appointment screen. This gives you more information about your clients and helps you provide a more personalized experience. Here's an example:

You can now see client metadata from the Client Info tab on the Manage Appointments screen.

View Cash and Card Amounts in Split Payment Transactions

When splitting a payment between cash and card, the Recent Transactions screen will now show the amounts for each payment method. This makes it easier for you to track and manage split payments and see how the transaction was paid for at a glance. Here's what that looks like:

Bug Fixes

  • View deposit button on the appointment from the artist login was redirecting to the shop dashboard - it's been resolved to redirect to the Artist Dashboard.

  • Appointment shorter than 30 minutes couldn't be clicked (we made the time blocks customizable to view appointments as larger time blocks).

  • Some 24 and 72 hour client appointment reminders were not getting sent.

  • Formatting update on the shop dashboard.

  • Updated format of time in the appointment reminder texts to 12 hr format from 24 hr format.

  • Some artists were being booked 30 minutes before their availability, this has been fixed.

  • For returning clients, the bug was requiring a new ID to be uploaded every time the client filled out a consent form, even if the ID was already on file. This has been resolved so if there is an ID on file, the customer will not be asked to provide one, but will have the option to upload a new one.

  • Various formatting improvements for enhanced usability.

We hope these new features and improvements will make your experience with our appointment system even better. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team at [email protected] or send us a chat through your login.
