Inventory Profitability Report

This report shows how much profit you're making from retail products by tracking sales revenue vs. cost of goods sold (COGS)—broken down by item and category:

🔍 Filters:

  • Date Range

  • Category

Key Sections:

Profitability Summary by Category

A bar chart showing net profit by product category (e.g., Aftercare, Apparel, Piercing Jewelry). Categories in red indicate net losses:

Profitability Totals

  • Total Net Profit – What your shop kept after deducting cost (wholesale price)

  • Total Product Revenue – Total earned from product sales

  • Total COGS – Your cost to stock those products; Retail Price - Wholesale Price

  • Total Quantity Sold – Number of individual products sold


Detailed Item Profitability

View every product’s performance in a sortable table:

  • Item Name & Category

  • Quantity Sold

  • Average Retail Price

  • Discounts Given

  • Commissions Paid

  • Total Product Revenue

  • Cost of Goods (COGS)

  • Net Revenue (highlighted in green/red for profit/loss)

  • Track top-performing retail items

  • Identify products eating into profits

  • Set smarter prices and commission rules

  • Stop stocking products with consistent losses


Inventory Snapshot Report

This report gives you a real-time view of your inventory, including current stock levels, total retail/wholesale value, and what's in or out of stock.

🔍 Filters:

  • Stock Status – Filter by In Stock, Out of Stock, or All

  • Category

  • Supplier

Key Sections:

Inventory Value by Category (Donut Chart)

Visual breakdown of your inventory’s total retail value by category:

Inventory Totals

At-a-glance total of how much you've invested in your inventory (Wholesale Value) and how much you can sell it for (Retail Value):

  • Total Retail Value in Stock: $14,145.00

  • Total Wholesale Value in Stock: $6,567.00

Use these to understand markup, plan reorders, and assess how much cash is tied up in inventory.

Inventory Details Table

Line-by-line summary of every item:

  • Item Name

  • SKU

  • Category

  • Quantity in Stock

  • Status (In Stock / Out of Stock)

  • Wholesale & Retail Price

  • Total Wholesale & Retail Value

  • Reorder link (if a Reorder URL is set on the inventory item)

  • Quickly spot what needs restocking

  • Understand your most valuable inventory categories

  • Monitor inventory aging and avoid overstocking
