Payment Options

We offer a variety of payment options to make it convenient for our customers to pay for their purchases. Whether you prefer to pay with cash, card, or through other methods, we have you covered. Read on to learn more about the different payment options we offer at checkout.

Once you're ready on the checkout screen, you can click Proceed to Checkout:

This presents several options which we'll go into detail on below:

Pay on Terminal

This option sends the amount from the KTF system to the physical payment terminal. There, customers can pay using chip cards, swipe cards, and tap to pay options such as ApplePay and AndroidPay.

  • If You See an Error Message Paying On Terminal:

    • If there are any issues with how your terminal is configured, the system will display an error message when you attempt to checkout using the terminal. If this happens, screenshot the error message and copy/paste it into a support chat and we'll get it taken care of asap.

  • Contact Support

    • If you experience any of these issues while using the terminal, please do not hesitate to contact our support chat for assistance. You'll find the support chat on the bottom right of your screen when you're logged in.

Enter Card Manually

In some cases, you may need to manually enter your customer's card information to make a payment. This could be due to a damaged card or if you are collecting a payment over the phone. Our system allows you to enter your card details securely to complete your transaction. It even has tip presets built in for you to prompt your customer! See the sample screen below; this will run a live card transaction:

Pay with Cash

Enter the amount of cash tendered and the system will do the math for you to provide change. Easy peasy! Learn more about our Cash Drawer system here.

Pay with Cash and Card

For those who prefer to split their payment between cash and card, we also offer this option. Your customer can pay a portion of their purchase with cash and the remaining balance with their card. This is a great option for those who may not have enough cash on hand for their entire purchase.

Send Invoice

If your customer prefers or if you're having any issues with your terminal, we also offer the option to send an invoice. This is a convenient way for your customers to pay using a payment link that you send them via SMS or email.

Log Other Payment Type

In some cases, you may need to log a different form of payment that is not listed above. Our system allows you to log other payment types, such as CashApp and Zelle.

Cancel

If your customer wants to change payment methods halfway through the transaction, you can hit cancel and it'll reset the payment options for you.

If you have any further questions or need assistance with a payment, please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer support team. We are always happy to help!
