New features, UI improvements, and Bug Fixes

Written by Paul Weissburg

Features

SMS Consent & Compliance

  • Summary: Added SMS consent state and audit entities with a backfill for existing clients, consent capture wired through public forms, waiting-room join, appointment booking, staff scheduling, and client/contact flows, opt-in/opt-out (STOP) handling, transactional consent metadata on invoice receipt texts, and configurable branded email senders applied across customer notifications, calendar invites, request forms, aftercare, OTP, and password reset emails.

  • Impact: Client texting is compliant and auditable end to end, and outbound email can carry the shop's branding.

Booth Rental & Multi-MID Payments

  • Summary: Shipped the booth rental program: host invite and renter management, renter onboarding and setup wizard, renter permissions with full data isolation, scheduling and booking link support, mobile app coverage, a platform admin indicator, and multi-MID payments so Dejavoo transactions route to each renter's own merchant account.

  • Impact: Shops can host booth renters as independent businesses inside the platform, with isolated data and payments settled directly to the renter.

ID Scanning & Document Intelligence (KYC)

  • Summary: Integrated Azure Document Intelligence into the KYC document flow. When an artist uploads an identity document (driver's license, driver's permit, state ID, military ID, NYC ID, tribal ID, green card, passport, or passport card), the document is scanned and the name, date of birth, document number, issuing state, expiration date, and address are extracted automatically with per-field confidence scores. Extracted values are cross-checked against the submitted identity details and stored as verification evidence on the document, and the revamped upload modals on web and mobile pre-fill from the scan. If scanning is unavailable, the flow falls back to manual entry with a clear prompt.

  • Impact: Faster, less error-prone KYC document submission and stronger identity verification evidence, reducing back-and-forth and failed enrollment reviews.

Payroll: KYC Revamp, Plaid Microdeposits & Location-Level Enrollment

  • Summary: Revamped the KYC/KYB flow for members with a full rework of the individual, business, and document upload experiences on web and mobile, added Plaid microdeposit support with a proper bank account verification lifecycle, and switched payroll enrollment to default to the Operating Unit (location) level instead of the Org (company) level to support Blue Horseshoe Onboard.

  • Impact: Artist payroll onboarding is smoother with more bank-linking options, and enrollment now matches how multi-location shops actually operate.

Consent/Request Form Editor Refresh

  • Summary: Reworked the form editor with a cleaner layout, a dedicated field drawer, and a share panel, added visibility toggles for Gender and Address on consent forms, and refreshed the public form UX (stepper flow, improved booking/request screens, and thank-you updates).

  • Impact: Shops have finer control over what clients are asked on forms, and the editing and public-facing experiences are both cleaner.

Calendar & Appointments UX

  • Summary: Usability pass on the web and mobile calendars, the ability to manage blackout dates directly from the Calendar page, updates to the appointment link builder, and appointments page improvements including catalog-aware artist/service filtering and booth-renter artist locking.

  • Impact: Day-to-day scheduling is faster and blackout management no longer requires leaving the calendar.

Receipt Reports (Requested by BHS)

  • Summary: Added a new "Receipt Reports" permission under Reporting (seeded to the appropriate roles) gating the sales receipt reports, and improved the Sales Overview report to display linked artist names instead of raw checkout user names.

  • Impact: Receipt-level reporting access can now be granted independently, and sales reports show recognizable artist names.

Mobile Login & App Link Improvements

  • Summary: UX pass on the mobile login page covering keyboard resizing behavior and password manager support, plus the Apple App Site Association file is now served for iOS universal links.

  • Impact: Logging in on mobile is smoother, password managers autofill reliably, and iOS links can open directly in the app.

Bugs

  • Sales Summary did not account for refunded deposit principal; fixed on both web and mobile.

  • Waiting Room formatting was broken on iPad.

  • Users could not print a request form from the app; printed form answers now also preserve line breaks in multi-line responses.

  • Searching inventory by SKU returned no results.

  • Payroll funding: ACH amounts now allocate proportionally across each artist's service categories, with negative categories reducing funding instead of producing negative payouts, plus a payroll batch creation fix.
