New Features & Improvements

SMS Consent and Branded Emails

We added a complete SMS consent system so shops can properly track when a client agrees to receive text messages.

Consent is now collected throughout the platform, including:

  • Appointment booking

  • Request and consent forms

  • Waiting room check-in

  • Staff-created appointments

  • Client and contact profiles

The system also records when and how consent was provided, handles STOP requests automatically, and keeps a complete history for compliance purposes.

Shops can also customize the sender information used on customer emails, including appointment notifications, calendar invites, request forms, aftercare instructions, login codes, and password reset emails.

What this means: Client texting is easier to manage, properly documented, and compliant. Emails can also look more consistent with the shop’s branding.

Booth Rental and Multi-MID Payments

The booth rental system is now available.

Shop owners can invite and manage booth renters, while renters receive their own onboarding process, settings, permissions, schedules, booking links, and mobile access.

Each booth renter’s information is kept separate from the rest of the shop. Renters only have access to their own clients, appointments, reports, and business data.

With Multi-MID payments, transactions completed for a booth renter are routed directly to that renter’s own merchant account.

What this means: Shops can manage independent booth renters inside Keep The Fees while keeping each renter’s data and payments completely separate.

Automatic ID Scanning for Payroll Enrollment

Identity documents uploaded during payroll enrollment can now be scanned automatically.

Supported documents include:

  • Driver’s licenses and permits

  • State IDs

  • Military IDs

  • NYC IDs

  • Tribal IDs

  • Green cards

  • Passports and passport cards

The system can automatically pull information such as:

  • Name

  • Date of birth

  • Document number

  • Issuing state

  • Expiration date

  • Address

The information is compared with the details entered during enrollment to help identify possible errors. If automatic scanning is unavailable, the user can still enter the information manually.

What this means: Artists can complete identity verification faster, with fewer mistakes and less back-and-forth during payroll enrollment.

Payroll Enrollment and Bank Verification Improvements

We redesigned the payroll enrollment process on both web and mobile.

The updated experience makes it easier to enter personal information, business information, and identity documents.

We also added Plaid microdeposit verification. This gives users another way to verify their bank account when instant bank verification is not available.

Payroll enrollment is now handled at the individual shop location level instead of the overall company level.

What this means: Payroll onboarding is easier, bank accounts have more verification options, and multi-location shops can enroll each location properly.

Consent and Request Form Editor Updates

The form editor has been redesigned with a cleaner layout, an improved field menu, and a dedicated sharing panel.

Shops can also choose whether Gender and Address fields appear on consent forms.

The client-facing form experience has been updated with:

  • A clearer step-by-step process

  • Improved booking and request screens

  • Updated confirmation and thank-you pages

What this means: Forms are easier for shops to build and easier for clients to complete.

Calendar and Appointment Improvements

We made several improvements to calendars and appointments on both web and mobile.

Shops can now manage blackout dates directly from the Calendar page without navigating to another section.

We also improved:

  • The appointment link builder

  • Artist and service filters

  • Appointment management

  • Booth renter scheduling restrictions

What this means: Scheduling is faster, filters are more accurate, and blackout dates are easier to manage.

Receipt Report Permissions

A new Receipt Reports permission is now available under Reporting.

This allows shops to control which team members can access receipt-level sales reports without giving them access to every other report.

The Sales Overview report will also display the artist connected to the sale instead of showing the employee who completed the checkout.

What this means: Shops have more control over reporting access, and sales reports are easier to understand.

Mobile Login and App Link Improvements

We improved the mobile login experience, including:

  • Better screen resizing when the keyboard opens

  • More reliable password manager autofill

  • Improved support for links that open directly inside the iOS app

What this means: Signing in is smoother, saved passwords work more reliably, and supported links can take users directly into the app.

Bug Fixes

  • Refunded deposit amounts are now properly included in the Sales Summary on web and mobile.

  • Fixed formatting issues with the Waiting Room on iPads.

  • Request forms can now be printed from the mobile app.

  • Multi-line form answers now keep their original spacing and line breaks when printed.

  • Inventory searches now return results when searching by SKU.

  • Improved how ACH payroll funding is divided between artist service categories.

  • Negative service categories now reduce the funding amount correctly instead of creating negative payouts.

  • Fixed an issue that could prevent payroll batches from being created.
