Sometimes, your client calls you last minute and cancels, or doesn't even show up at all! No sweat, that's why we take deposits. Now with Keep The Fees, you can keep their deposit and choose how much you want to pay our the artist from that deposit. We call it forfeiting the deposit. The amount you want the artist to get is added to the Artist Payout report.

Shop owners and floor managers can forfeit a customer's deposit if they cancel or no-show. There are 2 ways of doing this:

  1. Users can do this from the Manage Appointment screen:

2. Users also have the option to forfeit the deposit when they update the status to Cancelled or No Show:

You can set what percentage of the deposit gets paid out to the artist by navigating to Your Artists -> Edit -> Commission Settings -> Deposit Forfeiture Percentage

In this example, the Deposit Forfeiture Percentage for the artist Tattooviar is 75%. If you forfeit a $100 deposit, Tattooviar will get $75 added to their Artist Payout.

On the Artist Payout screen, you'll see the Forfeited Deposits look like this:

Use the chat on the bottom right of the screen when you're logged in or contact [email protected] if you have any questions.
